2006-Present Teaching Artist – Screen-printing, Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago, IL: Teach Silkscreen: Posters, Propaganda & Protest, a ten-week self-designed course covering screen-printing basics, an examination of the aesthetic power of posters and ending with a semi-permanent “wheat-pasted” poster exhibition/propagation outdoors.
2005-Present Digital Editing, Design & Website Maintenance, Vintage Catalogs, Evanston, IL: Create and publish facsimile editions from original catalogs and trade magazines from the 19th Century to the 1950’s using Adobe Photoshop and desktop publishing software. Designed and update retail website.
2006 Teaching Assistant – Intermediate Painting, Art Theory and Practice Department, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL: Started the quarter assisting Professor William Conger for the first four weeks. Finished the last six weeks independently conducting individual instruction, group critique and evaluation.
2005-2006 Visiting Artist Coordinator, Art Theory and Practice Department, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL: Designed the Department’s Visiting Artist Program schedule, initiated invitations and coordinated artists’ travel, lecture and student studio meeting arrangements. The year’s visiting artists included Amy Adler, Paul Chan, Patty Chang, Ken Fandell, Dave McKenzie and Ernesto Neto.
2000-2005 Project Technician/Printer, The Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia, PA: After completing the three-month apprenticeship program in 1999, hired to manage the printing studio, assist with the Apprentice Training Program and Artist-in-Residence program; including collaborative projects with Leonardo Drew, Tom Friedman, Kori Newkirk, Laura Owens, Shahzia Sikander and Kiki Smith.
